Shoot Successful!

Shoot at Brazen Head was a success! We got tons of great footage and there will be more news to come soon. In the mean time be sure to head over there for the cask festival in the next three days for their 18th Tri-Annual Cask Festival. For more info go to brazenheadbrooklyn.com and gotham-imbiber.com. Who knows, you may even see us over there.

Shooting Begins!

In a couple hours Kieran and I will begin shooting the pilot for Beer Quest! It's taken a lot to get here and there's still a lot more to come but it's great to have that real feeling that something is happening. Hopefully we'll have some pictures to put up soon after since we're too cheap to get a digital camera. Until then here's a picture of Kojak:

As mentioned before the first shoot will be covering the setting up of the Brazen Head's 18th Annual Cask Festival and it is very likely you'll be able to catch us back there Friday or Saturday. If you're a beer enthusiast definitely check out the Brazen Head for all the kick ass beers they'll have this weekend. Here's the location:

So hold tight everyone and wish us luck. Can't wait to tell you how everything goes.

Blog Launch

Well it's been a long time since we've posted anything here but with things moving ahead with the pilot we figured its about time to let the world at large know a bit more about Beer Quest and get our blog off the ground. We'll begin with shooting the setup for the Brazen Head's upcoming cask festival which will be occurring from Friday May 1st through May 3rd at their bar on Atlantic Ave. We were fortunate enough to get a sneak peak at the list of some of the casks and all we have to say is that if you're anywhere around the area you'll want to make a stop. You may find more information at the web site of the cask man himself, Alex Hall: www.gotham-imbiber.com.

Right now as part of our ongoing beer education Kieran and I are preparing to bottle up our first batch of home brew which should be ready to drink in about a week. Starting off with an English-style brown ale, we have thought carefully about a perfect name, something that gives it elegance and grace and decided to go with "Septic Stew Brown Ale". Hopefully some of you will get a chance to this very special inaugural brew of the Beer Quest Brewing Company. Tomorrow we have our second batch of home brew coming up, a very dark and strong dunkelweizen so wish us luck.

Until then keep enjoying good beer and be sure to say hi if you see us around town.
